Detailed Description:
Installation of brake pipes:
1. When replacing brake pipes, make sure they are not twisted or bent and do not rub against other parts. This is the same as the production process of brake pipes, keep them straight. Any twisting during installation will cause torsional loads on the end of the connecting rod, which may cause premature failure of the hose.
2. If there are protective sleeves, make sure they are in the same position as when they were installed. Tighten the brake pipe fittings enough to prevent leaks, but not too tight. Please refer to the recommended tightening torque. The hydraulic system is described in detail in the vehicle manufacturer's workshop manual. During the flow of fluid, check the fluid level carefully. It is important to keep the fluid level high throughout the process. In order to allow air to enter the brake system through the master pump, the same operation is repeated for the reservoir. When completed, recheck the fluid level in the reservoir and reinstall the filler cap if necessary.
3. Remember that brake fluid will corrode the painted surface, so be careful to prevent any leaks and fill or top up the master cylinder. Any contact with the body requires immediate washing of the area with plenty of water.
4. Check and feel whether the brake pedal is operating firmly and there is no sign of soft air. If there is, it means that there is still air in the system. Clean up any spurted brake fluid and have an assistant check the connections, brake pipes and hard pipes for leaks before the test run.
